Caribbean hotel review – Nisbet Plantation Beach Club, Nevis

Nisbet Plantation Beach Club is one of the most friendliest¬†hotels I’ve ever stayed in, it’s home-from-home accommodation with the bonus of happy staff who have been with this comfortable Caribbean hotel for years. Believe me, within a day you’ll feel part of the Nisbet “family”.

Nisbet Plantation Beach Club, Nevis, Caribbean

Nevis, Nisbet and Horatio Nelson

Small but perfectly formed (36 square miles) Nevis is somehow different to other Caribbean islands, even to its sister island St Kitts which is just a short ferry ride away. It’s the “real” Caribbean – the Caribbean at its best… unspoilt, friendly, peaceful, no mass tourism, scenic, and with deserted roads perfect for exploring sleepy villages by bike.

Nisbet Plantation sits in 30 acres of tropical grounds with towering palm trees and a vast sprawling lawn which leads down to the resort’s lovely white sand beach and adjacent swimming pool. Nisbet is where Captain Horatio Nelson met “Fanny” Nisbet, his wife to be, in the late-1700’s, when the now resort was a plantation house family home.
